Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on many central Florida communities. Our dear friend Tracy and her extended family live in those communities. After the storm passed, Tracy drove miles to find a cell signal to call and see if her sisters had survived the storm. Thankfully they were found upstairs in the only standing house in their neighborhood. Many neighbors hunkered down upstairs while the surge destroyed the rest of the community.
There are many, many stories like this.
They survived. The hardest part has started—putting the pieces back together. Many are without basic supplies, drinking water, and electricity.
Our goal is to raise at least $2500 to help Tracy help her community and those surrounding it. With your donation, our friends nearby in Florida can purchase whatever is needed and deliver it to those in need.
There are many fundraising efforts out there, and I fully support them. This effort will be given directly to some people in need of help.
Any donation of any amount is most appreciated! Please consider adding a tip to your donation to cover the processing fees. If you cannot donate, please share with those who can help.
Thank you on behalf of Tracy and her community,
Eden, Amy, Kelly, Kristi, Kriya, Jeannie, and Lisa.
