4 years ago, my beautiful family was torn apart by cancer. 4 years later, we continue to move forward without the most important person in our lives and we strive every day to keep their dad's memory alive.

As I approach what should be Alex Poole's 42nd birthday, I am asking to permanently solidify his memory, not with a grave stone or a eulogy, but with a piece of music.

As a band director and Alex as a musician, it has been a dream of mine to honor my husband and my children's father with a piece that embodies his story, our story through music. It is my hope that some day his kids may play this piece of music or his friends may play it for them and share all of their favorite memories of their dad.
