Great news! We have reached our goal for the commissioning! Thanks to all who have generously contributed to this project. Each of the high schools where Warren taught, as well as the community bands who contributed to the project will receive a copy of the work as soon as it becomes available.

Warren Torns left us too soon, but his legacy lives on! To honor his legacy as a teacher, mentor, conductor and leader in music education throughout Southern California, we have commissioned a NEW BAND WORK IN HIS MEMORY by composer Rossano Galante. The funds we have raised will help pay for this commission, which is also supported by the collective community bands in the greater San Diego area. His "SUMMER WINDS" wind ensemble will premier the work in the summer of 2023!
