Coming together in memory of Kyle Gundy

My friend Mike Gundy and his wife, Jana, experienced the passing of their youngest child, Kyle James Gundy, on June 4. Kyle was born on November 1, 2004 and was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, at 6 weeks old. This disorder is terminal and they were blessed to have him for 18 years, when he had only a 10% chance of living past 2. Aside from paying for a funeral, they are having a bronze sculpture placed at his grave site to honor a special boy who was so strong that he beat the odds for 16 years.
