Dear Los Marcianos and PYP family,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart about one of our own. Victor Soto Jr., a cherished player on Los Marcianos and within the PYP league, is facing the hardest battle of his life. His father, Victor Soto, has been fighting lung cancer for 15 long months. Despite his relentless courage, on March 24th lost his battle.

Victor Jr. has always found strength on the field. Baseball, through Los Marcianos and PYP, is his refuge, a place where he feels supported by all of us. As a team and a league, we now come together to help his family in this difficult time.

We have set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for funeral expenses and to support Victor Jr., his mother Marcia, and his siblings as they face this immense loss. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help them as they navigate the days ahead.
