Honoring Jose “Sito” Rodriguez ❤️

On April 26th, we lost someone deeply loved—Jose “Sito” Rodriguez. His presence, his heart, and the way he showed up for the people he loved will never be forgotten. Born on July 5th, Sito lived a life rooted in love, loyalty, and family.

Sito wasn’t just a son—he was his mother’s support system, her protector, and her partner in life. He helped care for her and contributed to the home they shared. He showed up for his mommy in a way that so many of us can only hope for. That kind of love… it runs deep.

Now, his mother is facing an unimaginable reality. She recently lost her husband, and now, the loss of her son has left her heartbroken and navigating a silence no parent should ever have to endure. Along with the emotional weight of this loss, she is now also facing financial uncertainty, as Sito was a part of maintaining their household.

We are coming together as a community to ease even a small part of this burden.

Sito did have a life insurance policy of $5,000, and we are incredibly grateful for that. However, funeral service costs are approximately $2,400, and we are also hoping to raise around $1,000 to provide a repass—a space for family and loved ones to gather, grieve, and celebrate his life together.

Any additional funds raised will go directly to his mother to help with ongoing living expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
