Hello, my name is Kayla and my 2 children have been riding Mashpee Bus 11 with our beloved Miss Amy since Kindergarten. With her family's permission, I would love to share an update.

As you all know, Miss Amy suffered a serious life-threatening emergency on Monday while driving her school bus. This medical emergency required life-saving measures and procedures. She has miraculously made it through her initial storm and is now awake and conversational in the ICU.

Miss Amy stands as a true pillar of the Mashpee community, quietly shaping lives and lifting others through her dedication and compassion every day on her bus. She truly is the best of the best. Let's come together as a community and show her all of the support that we can. Any amount helps and will go directly to Miss Amy and her family to help with medical expenses and daily living while she is not working. We continue to pray for her full recovery.
