Josh’s home was completely damaged by the devastating flooding that came with the hurricane. Thankfully, he was able to evacuate safely but he found himself sleeping in his car that night with his dog, Maka.

If you know Josh, you know there truly aren’t enough words to describe the kind of person he is. He is one of the most kind, hardworking, humble, and genuinely giving people we know. He is always the first to show up for someone in need, going out of his way to help anyone without ever expecting anything in return.

Even after losing his home, Josh has continued to put others first. He is already back to work, lifeguarding the beaches and helping care for his community, all while temporarily staying with a friend and trying to navigate clean up/damage.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for Josh.

We want to help take some of this weight off his shoulders and give back to someone who has spent so much of his life giving to others. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward helping Josh rebuild, replace what was lost, and create a comfortable, and livable home for him and Maka to return to.
