As many of you have likely heard, Gary Whitling was shot on Tuesday, March 10, and is currently in the ICU in Pittsburgh. As a result of his injuries, he is now paralyzed from the chest down and faces a long and challenging road to recovery.
We are raising funds to help Gary and his family adjust to the many changes ahead. Donations will help cover travel expenses for medical appointments and travel while he remains hospitalized, the construction of a ramp when he is able to come home, modifications to make the bathroom wheelchair accessible, and other medical or accessibility needs that may arise as he adapts to life after this injury.
Gary has always been the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off his back. Now it’s our turn to come together and support him during this incredibly difficult time. Any help, big or small, is deeply appreciated.
