Dustin is the man everyone goes to when they need anything. Whether it's a question about a car or moving anything, going to get you out of a pickle offroading, he will drop everything to go help our friends family or offroad community. he goes above and beyond for strangers. He's the most honest, helpful person I've ever met. He's our sole provider for our family: myself, Brooke, his wife, and our two boys, Aiden and Tyler.
Dustin was in a horrible motorcycle accident Friday night.
We have the Cardo system in our helmets. It alerted me he might have been in an accident and gave me a pin drop. He wasn't answering, so I hauled ass out there, 30 minutes away. I called 911 on the way. I got to the pin drop and didn't see anything. I had a gut feeling, so I walked the road with my flashlight. I saw his bike. ran over and found him. Cars passing by couldn't see him, and his bike flew over a fence. He was in such bad shape. Officers got there 10 minutes later. And couldn't belive he was alive after crashing and laying there for 30 +min
As of right now, he's sedated on a ventilator.
He has a spine fracture, neck fracture, a broken rib, his left arm was torn from the socket, and it is broken top and bottom in multiple areas. His left leg is completely broken top and bottom in multiple places, and his foot is broken in multiple places.
He has a very, very long road ahead of him. And I need everyone to come together for him like he would do for any of you. He will not be able to work for a very long time. These next couple of months are going to be challenging enough with surgery, rehab, doctor appointments, etc. Please, if you can donate anything to help with our rent, electricity, water, all of the things, my family would be ever so grateful. We unfortunately don't have any savings; we put every dollar we had into starting his business. I will do my best to keep everyone updated.
Thank you.
