I’m reaching out on behalf of my friend Dannah who many of you know & love, she recently experienced a serious accident that has changed her life dramatically.

Dannah suffered burst fractures to two of her vertebrae, a painful and traumatic injury that requires a lengthy hospital stay, extensive medical care & surgery, and a long road to recovery. While we’re incredibly grateful that she is still able to move and is receiving care, this kind of injury doesn’t just heal overnight. It comes with ongoing doctor visits, possible treatments, and significant time away from work.

She will be having spinal surgery which will be very costly considering she is without health insurance. As of now her medical bills are expected to exceed $80,000 not to mention cost of living while she recovers.

As you can imagine, the financial burden is a stressful factor . Between an on going hospital stay and the inability to work during recovery, Dannah is facing a lot all at once. On top of that, she needs support for everyday living expenses while she focuses on healing.

Dannah is strong, kind, and always the one showing up for others. She’s a hard worker, a great friend , & overall genuine person. I would love to see her community come together so this financial burden can be taken off of her & she can truly focus on a road to a normal life again.
