On behalf of Cedar Lake Girls Softball, we are reaching out to ask for help during an incredibly difficult time for one of most beloved coaches, Coach Ashley.

On 12/18, Ashley and Mia were involved in a serious accident. Ashley took the brunt of the impact and sustained significant injuries. While we are thankful that Mia is okay, Ashley has a long and challenging road to recovery ahead of her.

Ashley underwent her first surgery on 12/19, with another scheduled for 12/21, and doctors anticipate several more surgeries in the future. During this time, Ashley will be out of work for an extended period, creating a heavy financial burden for her family.

We are asking our community, along with Ashley’s former community in Zionsville, to come together and support the Alexander family. Any contribution will help ease the financial strain on Mike and allow the family to focus fully on Ashley’s healing and recovery.
