Help Carol Recover After a Serious Fall and Hip Replacement Surgery
We’re reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support for our mom, Carol, who recently experienced a serious accident. While out walking her dog, Carol took a hard fall onto the curb and broke her left hip injured her left hip. She has since gone through surgery and was just discharged from hospital today 2/17 to a rehabilitation center where she will reside for the next 4-6 weeks.
This has been sudden and overwhelming. Carol is strong and positive, but the road ahead will be physically, emotionally, and financially challenging. Her doctors expect that she will be unable to work for at least 6 months while she recovers and completes early rehabilitation.
Unfortunately, Carol is not in a position to keep up with her full monthly expenses — including rent, bills, etc. without her regular income. She is already facing a large medical copay, which makes covering everyday living expenses even more difficult during this time. Our family is contributing as much as we can, but we’re not able to fully close the gap alone.
We are hoping that family, friends, and our community to come together to help Carol get through this difficult period. Any donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward her housing costs, essential bills, and medical expenses while she heals and works toward getting back on her feet.
If you’re unable to give, sharing this page and keeping Carol in your thoughts and prayers also means so much to us.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
