Coming together for Almond, Sophie and the boys

Yesterday we all gained a new angel, one none of us were prepared to have, Kim passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. Leaving Almond without his best friend and partner, leaving Sophie without her momma and leaving the boys without their Aunt who has been there for them since they were little. Kim was the most extraordinary person, she had a passion for nursing like no one else, she loved her job especially her team. Sophie was her miracle child, all she wanted was to be a momma, and the bond those two shared was something special. There was nothing in this world she wouldn’t have done for Sophie. She’s been married to Almond for 18 years, they had one of those love stories that everyone dreams of having. She loved family, her sister, her in laws, her nephews. They were the reason she was who she was and she did everything she could for them. She was the friend that we all wanted to be, she would pick you up when you were down, tell you how it was, and then made sure you knew she loved you.

Those that know Almond know that he wouldn’t ask for help. We know that the coming weeks and months will be difficult. Nothing can replace the tremendous loss this family has had to endure. We are raising this money to help Almond with whatever expenses may come up.
