An Ordinarie Fare Storefront!

We are Ordinarie Fare , a gluten-free, plant-forward food business in Dayton, OH, and we are preparing to open our first storefront in Oakwood, OH in April 2022! If you are interested in partnering with us to further the vision of OF to make gluten-free and plant-based fare exciting, accessible, and delightful to all in the Dayton area (and beyond!), keep reading!

Our first two years serving our community as Ordinarie Fare have been really amazing, a testament to our customers' desire to mindfully nourish the body and soul.  In spite of a global pandemic, 2020 and 2021 brought our business significant growth as we shared our fare via the farmer’s market, online sales, and our subscription base. Now it is time for the next step on our journey. We are so thrilled to be able to offer a place for our customers to stop by on a regular basis.

In December '21, the opportunity arose for us to build out a commercial kitchen with a take-out counter with Shoppe Smitten in The Shops of Oakwood, just a hop and a skip away from our new home. After much consideration, we decided to move forward with the project, and are looking towards an opening date sometime in April '22.

One benefit of this model is that the investment to open is significantly less than a full restaurant build out, so it’s an ideal next step to learn and expand the business. We are looking to raise $20k to complete our build out without a significant amount of debt, so that our profits can be poured into further expansion and contributions to our community.
