Need help recovering from Hemorrhagic Stroke
Donation protected
On May 10,2022 I suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke that paralyzed my right side. Mostly due to high blood pressure. I had zero movement and 100% paralysis. Doctors did not expect me to walk again nor have the use of right hand or arm. 63% of people who have this particular stroke don’t survive and of those that do only 10_% gain any physical function. I’ve been in rehab working hard and after almost three weeks I’m up ambulatory or walking on a walker with assistance. Thursday I get to go home. There are currently and will be tremendous expenses not covered by insurance as I transition to outpatient rehab. home renovation to accommodate me and my assistive devices, transportation, medical devices, assistive devices, personal expenses, family travel expenses, food and meal prep, sitter expenses, new monthly expenses, and overall care that I now have in this unexpected turn of events where I am not able to provide myself. Any bit will be greatly appreciated.
help me reach my goal of going home and getting to outpatient rehab so I can continue my work and therapy.
