From Lior:
Jonny Snow is a fighter. Born on a mountain in a desert winter 12 years ago, Jonny came into my life at a time when I needed him most. Now, he needs me to help him be released from pain. Over the past month, Jonny has had multiple upper respiratory and eye infections, brought on by an aggressive cancer that is ravaging his immune system and replacing his small intestine lining with cancer cells. He went from eating ravenously to barely being able to lick up gravy. I can tell he's in a lot of pain and hanging on just because he's a fighter and just because he's such a loving boy. It's my responsibility to take care of him and make sure he's not suffering in his final days.
Jonny has always hated the vet; he gets so scared. That's why I'd like to have a veterinarian from Laps of Love come into the home to help him pass, where he'd be comfortable, not afraid, and surrounded by those who love him. The cost is looking at about $850 from the pain meds and compassionate euthanasia to the cremation and wooden urn, so we can always be together the way I know he'd want to be. I know it's hard out here. Any amount helps, $1, $5, $20, whatever you can manage. This is a good boy who has lived a good life. I'd like to give him the best final chapter. Thank you so much for reading.
From Chels:
As a longtime friend I know the impact Johnny and Lior have had on each other. Johnny has been by their side through the best and worst times. I'm grateful to Johnny for his companionship, and I'm grateful to anyone who is able to read, share, or donate to this campaign. Lior has been unable to pick up shifts at work, as they are tending to Johnny's needs from now until his passing. Anything helps.
