My name is Lauren, on April 4th my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It has spread quite a bit through her body and she’s going to need an aggressive treatment to be able to live. It has spread from her lungs to her liver, stomach, and in her bones. She has metastatic masses throughout those locations. She had been living with pain for quite a few years and they couldn’t find the source of her pain. Which, ended up being the cancer. So she was unable to work the last few years. The plan is for her to be able to make it to see her younger two children get married and see her grand kids grow. And start families. Insurance is covering some, but not all.
