UPDATE: It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved Kathy passed away on March 27, 2026. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express. We are taking this time to grieve, support one another, and honor the life she lived.

As many of you know, Kathy is in the final stages of life and her battle with cancer. She has recently been approved for disability, but due to the required five-month waiting period, those benefits will not begin in time to support her. She is expected to be with us for only a few more weeks.

During this incredibly difficult time, our focus is to keep her comfortable, surrounded by family, and at peace. However, the financial strain has been overwhelming as her and Bruce are still paying ongoing cancer-related medical bills, medication costs, hospice and other end-of-life expenses, all while her income has come to an abrupt stop.
