Comfort and Care for Matt and Joe

Matt and Joe need our help.

A month ago, Joe was diagnosed with what turned out to be an untreatable cancer. Sadly, he is now in hospice. This has come as a huge shock, and Matt is doing everything possible to support him through this difficult time.

In the middle of this crisis, the HVAC in their home died and had to be replaced. Keeping Joe comfortable is the highest priority right now, and with temperatures over 90 degrees, this was an immediate need.

Additionally, Matt has taken time off of work to care for Joe and, importantly, to take him home to Illinois to see his family and say goodbye.

This fundraiser is to offset costs as they navigate this difficult time, including:

- replacement of the HVAC system

- travel costs

- medical costs not covered by insurance

- household bills while Matt is caretaking and unable to work

Anything you can contribute will help take some of the burden off of Matt and Joe as they navigate these challenges.
