We wanted to share an update about our friend, Jorge Bouza: a father, brother, son, uncle, and friend to so many.

His cancer has progressed aggressively, and his liver cancer has now metastasized. He has made the difficult and deeply personal decision to go in peace and decline all further treatment. The family is now shifting their focus to keeping him comfortable, supported, and surrounded by love during this time.

Many of you know Jorge as a lifelong storyteller. He spent decades behind the camera—traveling to war zones, covering local news, and even chasing down Snooki on the boardwalk—always committed to documenting life as it unfolded. He helped capture memories for so many, and now we’re doing everything we can to support him through this final chapter of his own story.

As the family navigates hospice care, home support, and the uncertainties of what lies ahead, we’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on his children and family. Any contribution—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference to the Bouza's.
