My partner and I are the lucky owners of Cubby, a sweet and loving Australian Shepard. We rescued him 4 years ago and had the privilege of bringing him into our family. As a pet owner I wish for him to live a long and healthy life but sometimes life throws you a curveball. For Cubby that was getting a diagnosis of Lymphoma. Sadly this is a type of terminal cancer that is fast acting. At this point in time we want to raise funds for Cubby to provide him comfort in these last few months of his life. We have already chosen to put him on treatment with L-asparaginase, or more commonly know as Elspar, as it's the most realistic option given our circumstances. In starting this GoFundMe we are hoping to raise funds to cover this option we have chosen, especially since we experienced another loss of a pet a week before Cubby's diagnosis. This of course will help alleviate some of the financial and emotional struggles we have gone through and are going through with Cubby. We want to make sure Cubby is able to have a high quality of life, and as little pain as possible as he goes through the changes involved with his cancer.
