My name is Chris Liebenthal. This is my heart dog and my best friend, Beau. Beau rescued me ten and a half years ago and has been my constant companion ever since.

Yesterday, we received news that no pet owner ever wants to hear: cancer. His vet told us that Beau has a very large tumor growing on his spleen, and that it has spread. She said that it is inoperable.

We put Beau on palliative care, and our focus is on keeping him as comfortable as possible for whatever time he has left.

But we are already struggling financially and can't take on more medical bills, much less his final costs. We're asking for help to pay for his medication, his special diet food, as well as his final costs.
