My name is Donna from Waterford. Comet is a 3-year-old female Golden Retriever that was hit by a car on January 27, 2025, and took off running. She is a service dog in training. This sweet girl was missing for 8 days before walking herself into the Waterford Police Station. She has a large cut and swelling on her front left leg and is going to need an MRI for her shoulder. This sweet girl has brought the community of Waterford together in a way that I’ve never seen before. We are now asking for help with paying for her veterinarian bills.
