Nuestro compañero de trabajo y amigo Luis O’Farrill Aponte conocido como “Comerío”, es padre de familia de cuatro hijos y su esposa.  El pasado jueves 26 de octubre 2018, sufrió un accidente grave de camino a su trabajo. Desafortunadamente mientras el verificaba un percance que su carro tuvo, un camión que transitaba de manera negligente impacto su vehículo, causándole daños a nuestro compañero. O’farril se encuentra en el Hospital Centro Médico de Río Piedras y no se sabe si es posible darlo de alta ya que ha tenido varias complicaciones. Nuestro amigo no cuenta con plan médico.  Luis O’Ferrill perdió todo a causa del Huracán María y gracias a su empleo pudo reconstruir su casa nuevamente en cemento, la cual ha ido equipándola poco a poco. Ahora con este lamentable accidente no podrá culminar con varias cosas que le faltan, más poder sustentar a su familia. Luis, es una persona muy responsable, trabajadora, siempre tiene la iniciativa propia de ayudar, es el primero en estar de voluntario y siempre está presente para sus hijos y su esposa. Lamentablemente entre más estudio le realizan, más complicaciones siguen apareciendo. Existe la posibilidad que cuando salga del hospital no pueda trabajar. 

Our co-worker and friend Luis O'Farrill Aponte, known as “Comerío”, is the father of a family of four children and his wife. On Thursday, October 26, 2018, he suffered a serious accident on the way to his job. Unfortunately, while he was verifying a mishap that his car had, a truck that passed negligently impacted his vehicle, causing damage to our partner. Which is in the Hospital Centro Medico and it is not known if it is possible to discharge him since he has multiple injuries. Our friend does not have a medical plan. Luis O'Ferrill lost everything because of Hurricane Maria and thanks to his employment he was able to rebuild his house again in cement, which he has been equipping little by little. Now with this unfortunate accident he will not be able to finish with several things that are missing, and sustain his family. Luis, is a very responsible person, hardworking, always has the initiative to help, he is the first to be a volunteer and is always present for his children and his wife. It is not known if he can return to work when he leaves the Hospital.
