Hello Everyone,
Recently our friend Comedian Compton Smith, was in a bad car accident while heading home to Demopolis, AL from a comedy show in the Birmingham area December 6th, 2021. Unfortunately, while driving he crashed into a semi truck and had to be airlifted to UAB hospital with broken ribs, a punctured lung and had to get his left arm amputated above the elbow.
For the people not familiar with Compton, he’s been a professional comedian for 5 years and is an important part of the South East comedy scene. He’s currently booking 4-5 weekly and monthly comedy nights throughout Mississippi Alabama and Florida and also a key member in helping to launch the Mobile Comedy Festival.
If you guys could feel it in your heart to donate anything while we as a community try to help with the burden of hospital bills and recovery. Our goal is $10,000.
