Comedian Ace - Leukemia Fundaiser

Donation protected
Hello, this is Dustin Kaufman from The Comedy Club of Kansas City.

We are raising money for a beloved father, friend and local comedian Marian Wallace 3rd aka Ace, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia. He has been in the hospital for several weeks while starting chemo and will continue to be out of work for the forseeable future while he fights this battle with his family and loved ones. Marian is currently being secluded from the general public while his immune system rebuilds and will be looking at a bone marrow transplant soon. This is a long battle that will leave him out of work for several months.

To start, we are putting on a Fundraiser Show Wednesday April 3rd 7pm in efforts to riase money for Marian and his family. The show will be held at The Comedy Club of Kansas City and tickets can be purchased here.

If you are unable to attend, want to dig a little deeper, or just want to help, please donate to this GoFundMe. Ace is a very hardworking and proud father and individual. He didn't want his condition publicized at first, but after long discussion he decided to let us help him through these times.

Everything donated will be going towards Mariam (Ace) and his family to help with bills, food and basic needs while he is out of work the next few months.

A cancer of blood-forming tissues, hindering the body's ability to fight infection.
Leukemia is cancer of blood-forming tissues, including bone marrow. Many types exist such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Many patients with slow-growing types of leukemias don't have symptoms. Rapidly growing types of leukemia may cause symptoms that include fatigue, weight loss, frequent infections, and easy bleeding or bruising.

I can tell you first hand, Ace has ben in a lot of pain for the last several months, but wasn't sure why. At first he thought his pain was from a car accident he had last year. Then assumed it was a sciatic nerve, but when he went in to get blood work done in February we realized it was much worse. That's when he discovered he had leukemia and was immediatlly checked into KU Med. He's was there for a month and was just released back home, for now, where he has to remain for the indefinite future during recovery.

I know a lot of these crowdfunding sites have recommended donation amounts. The truth is, any amount you donate is extremely appreciated. 5, 20, 50, 100. Every dollar you can help with will be felt greatly.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and thank you for you donations.
