Come together to support Jennifer & the kids

Hi, my name is Giselle and I am helping to write this goFundme for my best friend, Jennifer Gaskin, alongside her daughter-in-law, Casey and Jenn’s other best friend, Tammy. (Yes, Jenn has two best friends ;))

Over the last two weeks, Jennifer and her children have endured a life-changing tragedy with the sudden loss of her husband, Daniel. Daniel was Jennifer’s rock. The man standing alongside her, supporting her in all of her greatness. From the Worcester Caribbean American Carnival to Jenn’s book launch and TED Talk and everything in between, Daniel was always there to cheer on Jenn and show his pride and admiration. But Daniel wasn’t just Jenn’s rock, he was also the foundation to Amerie and Khi as their father. Daniel loved his children and gave them the confidence and love they needed to feel seen and heard in this world.

Jennifer and her children lost Daniel suddenly and way too soon. Their family is broken but takes the necessary steps to begin healing together.

With the holidays right around the corner - and Jennifer’s birthday on New Year’s Eve - we ask the community to come together and give Jennifer and her children a gift that means the world. Tammy, Casey and myself would like to send Jennifer and the kids to Trinidad to spend the holidays with Daniel’s father and to embrace family and tradition to allow them time to begin to heal.
