My name is Aisho Hussein and I am raising funds to help my brother and family throught this difficult time.

My 14 year old brother Abdullahi Hussein drowned on May 13, 2023. His life, and that of my family, has changed forever. My brother has been in the Intensive Care Unit since that day. My mother has not left his side since the incident. We are grateful that Abdullahi is still alive, however we are struggling with the aftermath. Currently he is in a coma, and this GoFund me is intended to support his rehabilitation and treatment post ICU.

We are taking it one day at a time as a family, it is possible he may need a wheelchair and things to care for him in the event that he has a disabliltiy from brain damage.

My mother has not been working, and my family is looking to relocate rapidly as our current housing community is being torn down soon. We want a home that has the reasonable accommodations and modifications he may need to support his recovery and our family in providing care.
