This is not a campaign anyone ever wants to write.

On October 4, 2025, Bill & Krissi Waters' world shattered. They lost their beautiful, vibrant daughter, India, at only 16 years old.

India was known for crocheting gifts for everyone she knew. She loved to read and be with little kids. She absolutely adored her little brother and big sister.

The sudden, unexpected nature of her death has left the Waters' completely unprepared, both emotionally and financially. No parent ever plans for this devastating cost. Can we come together as a community to help this family with the following:

1. Funeral and Memorial Expenses: The funds raised will support funeral home and cremation/burial costs, memorial service and reception, headstone, and the associated administrative fees.

2. Time Off Work for Healing: The funds raised will support the Waters' family time away from work as they navigate this initial, crippling phase of grief. In particular, Krissi just started a new role and does not have any vacation/sick time accrued, causing her to take leave without pay. As you can imagine, it is impossible for them to focus on work right now. They need significant time to mourn India, support each other, and begin the long, difficult road of healing. Your support will help cover essential living expenses—mortgage, utilities, and monthly Primrose tuition for their youngest son Declan (age 4).
