On August 30, Tuesday evening our mother was in a horrible motorcycle accident. My mother was a passenger on the bike. She bled out at the scene and was life flighted to an intensive care trauma icu unit. She was revived with several blood and platelet transfusions. She was bleeding internally and also had a severe femoral artery injury. Her pelvic is crushed and she also suffers a neck and two spinal compressions. She is on her fourth surgery in 4 days which include, external fixator‘s to keep her pelvic in place until she is well enough for the permanent surgery. She has gone through two abdominal surgeries to stop her internal bleeding, reconstructive surgery on her femoral artery and a fasciotomy to save her leg and foot. My mother will need several more surgeries and faces a long road of recovery in front of her. We are extremely blessed to still have her here with us and thank the lord above for that. We are asking for everyone’s continued prayers as they have been working.
