Hi! My name is Jānis.
This is a story about a dream that started quietly and hasn’t gone away for years - a dream of sharing Latvia’s most beautiful hidden places, forest trails, 12th-century castle ruins, and secret roads.
Not just showing these places, but telling stories: about our small victories, our failures, superstitions, and why some things in Latvia just need to be felt, not explained.
And yes — I’ll be there myself. Behind the wheel, with the stories, and occasionally with a not-so-successful joke to break the ice.

THE IMMEDIATE GOAL: MY OWN TOUR VAN
Right now, transportation is my biggest bottleneck. To host more travelers, explore deeper into nature, and keep tours running seamlessly, I need my own dedicated tour van.
Getting this van is Stage 1: it will serve as my cozy mobile hub, carrying guests, gear, and hot drinks into Latvia’s wilderness.
THE BIGGER DREAM: A STORYTELLING CAMPSITE
The van isn't just transport — it's the engine for Stage 2. All proceeds from our van tours will go directly toward securing land for a cozy, warm campsite.
Not a sterile place full of signs and rules, but a place built on feeling:
- A place where, in the evenings, people naturally gather around the campfire - when emails are sent, spreadsheets done, and the day is finally put down.
- A place where conversations flow, silence feels comfortable, and everything becomes simple by itself.
- A welcoming spot for families, solo explorers, vanlifers, campers, and curious souls passing through.
