A special call out to gun shearers & woolies!
Kursha Oster has been a mentor and friend for many in the wool industry. It is hard to compare her work ethic and kindness, which has earned her the utmost respect. The time and effort Kursha and Paulie have put into training and the industry is admirable. In these trying times let's show them our support and appreciation.
All proceeds from the shearing day fundraiser “Combs Out For Kursha” to be held Saturday 11 December 2021 will be donated to the Oster family to help purchase much needed equipment & treatment to give Kursha the strength she needs to keep fighting.
Come for an hour, a run or the day and launch into the XB lambs at the Kirkland property, Furner for Kursh!
To make the day even better Shearer trainers Shannon Warnest, Paul Oster and Rick Chilcott will be available all day for tips and a gear station will be set up to get you humming. Gun Woolhandler trainer Alie Tuinder will give tips on timing and technique.
Smokos and lunches will be supplied throughout the day.
