Colunga-Somers Carr Fire Fund
Late Thursday night on July 26th, 2018 the #carrfire began sweeping through Redding neighborhoods and devastating surrounding communities. Tragically, the family home of Courtney Colunga, Stephen Somers and their 2 daughters Liana (2 years) and Alivia (3 months) was consumed as well and they lost everything. Thankfully the family was safely evacuated in time, however difficult times are ahead for them as they try to move forward and rebuild.
If you know Courtney and Stephen you know they are two of the most kind hearted, hard working, and genuine people you will ever meet. You’ll also know how stubborn and prideful the pair are, and that they would never ask for anything (we actually had to convince them to allow us to post this). They are much more used to giving back to others than receiving. Which is why we've stepped in to help!
To help give their family some relief during this overwhelming situation, donations of any size are beneficial and appreciated to help lessen the burden they face. Any unused donations will be donated to the Carr Fire Relief Fund.
To the Colunga-Somers family, we are with you through these times of hardship and want you to know that your friends, family, and community stands behind you. The love in the air is thicker than the smoke! We love you guys!
