Colt’s Amputation

Recently Colt, our German Shorthaired Pointer, was lost for 3 days without any leads. On the fourth day, we found him with a broken hind leg, infections in the wounds of that leg, as well as puncture wounds on the rest of his body. After seeing a vet, we were directed to a vet specialist and surgeon at Mississippi State University’s Vet School who have been able to give him the care that he needs. We learned that the infection and break were too bad to save Colt’s leg, and ultimately we had to decide to amputate. This money will go towards Colt’s amputation and stay in Mississippi State’s care for recovery. We thank you in advance for anyone who donates, and we thank everyone for the support!!!
