Colton Matthew Smith was tragically taken from his young family on 10/07/14. The life and loss of our precious baby Colton has forever changed us. There will be many unforseen expenses in the days to come for his family. We will be forever grateful for any support you can give to help the family cope with this tragedy.
Colton was born on September 30th. He came out with 1.5 inches of bushy blonde hair, perfect features and incredible grip strength on your finger. After having respiratory difficulty he was transported to the NICU at Tacoma General Hospital. He went through many trials from day one, with all of the tests and procedures that he received. He held dads finger his entire life and mom was right there on the other side.
He died on his one-week birthday. It was a rare bowel disease. The last 30 hours of his life were spent listening to constant stories about mom and dad, prayers and songs we sang to him.
We love you Colton.
