Our son Colton needs another open-heart surgery. Colton was born with complex congenital heart defects that have required him to have 5 open-heart surgeries since birth. We travel from Phoenix, AZ to Boston Children's Hospital so he can have the best of the best be his heart surgeon and team. His last surgery was last December, but unfortunately, that one was unsuccessful, and now he needs another one. The biggest issue he has had is he develops an obstruction in his heart, and it keeps coming back. Since the obstruction came back so quickly, the next surgery will be more aggressive, which may lead to Colton needing a pacemaker. We ask for any help that can be given to help ease some of the financial burden as our family tackles another trip across the country for another open-heart surgery.
