Hello,

My name is Colton Briggs and I am currently a first-year medical student at the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Pikeville.
This upcoming summer, approximately 30 medical students are going on a medical mission trip through Go Ministries to the Dominican Republic. My goal is to gain medical and personal experience, but most of all I would also help individuals receive medical care who usually are unable too otherwise. While on this trip we set up medical clinics in areas that usually don’t have access to medical care. We provide physical examinations, while also dispensing necessary medications to the patients.

Fundraising for this trip covers the cost of traveling expenses, food and water, medical equipment (including medications), and housing.   

If you are able to help donate toward my goal, I would greatly appreciate it. I am sure the people of the Dominican Republic would appreciate it as well, as this is their only source of medical attention.
