Hi everyone, my name is Mikalyn and I’m fundraising for my son Colton who has been fighting for his life since before he was born.

Colton was born with hydrocephalus, hydrops fatalis, polymicrogyria, and cytomegalovirus with a few other health complications in the mix. We found out at his twenty week growth scan that he had low amniotic fluid as well as several possible health issues which indicated hydrops and CMV. Sadly they’ve only seem to have gotten worse. He is currently in the NICU and fighting as hard as he can to make it home with mom and dad to meet his brother Beau and sister Dakota. 

 He is in need of brain surgery and although insurance has helped unfortunately we have a growing amount of medical bills that will not be covered. As well as a family to provide for while going through this trying time.

We aren’t ones to ask for help but being as i have been an orphan from the age of ten, with my mother passing at three years old from a double brain aneurysm and my father passing from three types of cancer due to the agent orange used in the Vietnam war when i was ten. I’ve decided to ask for the kindness and generosity of you amazing people. The money that isn’t put towards the medical bills already piling up will be used for Colton’s brain surgery cost and any specialty care he may need. Honestly any little bit you can give will help my family tremendously and I cannot thank all the friends and family that have been by our side through this trying time. Thank you all for being my rock when my world has felt like it is crumbling.
