Support Colton's Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
In early October, my dear friend Colton’s world turned upside down when he was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer.
Anyone who knows Colton knows he brings so much light, laughter, and joy to those around him. This diagnosis has been a heartbreaking challenge for him. What started in late August as feeling “off” quickly spiraled into ER visits, specialist consultations, and a growing concern that something was seriously wrong. After weeks of uncertainty, the devastating news came—it was confirmed to be cancer.
A day after the diagnosis, Colton underwent surgery to remove the tumor. While the surgery went well, it wasn’t the end of the road. His tumor markers, although better, still indicated the disease was present, and scans revealed spots on his lungs. Taking this into consideration, the doctors recommended an aggressive treatment plan. Starting in December, he will begin intense chemotherapy at the Virginia Cancer Specialist Center. The treatment plan will last several months and consist of 6 hours of chemotherapy for 5 consecutive days every 21 days and will severely compromise his immune system, making the road to recovery long and difficult.
The emotional toll has been heavy. Colton has faced moments of deep fear and sadness but also incredible determination. Through it all, his fiancé Chris has been his rock, along with their family and close friends.
But even with this emotional support, the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical bills from the surgery, scans, and treatments are already piling up. The money they had saved for their wedding is now being used to ensure Colton gets the care he needs to recover.
We are asking for your help. Colton’s road ahead will be long, but with your generosity, we can help ease the financial burden and allow him to focus on what matters most—his health and recovery. Every donation, regardless of size, will make a difference and bring hope in these challenging times.
Thank you all for the amazing support you’ve shown Colton. Your kindness means more to him than you know, and he and Chris are forever grateful for any help during this difficult time. Colton is determined to stay strong and embrace every moment, even in the darkest of times. As one of his favorite quotes says, “You can either run from the storm or dance in the rain,” and he’s choosing to dance.
