My name is Ali and Colton is like my second brother. He and his dog Layla live with my brother Ben in Atwater. Near their home on Thursday August 31st Colton was involved in an ATV accident around 6:15pm. He was airlifted to the St. Cloud hospital with life threatening injuries deemed in critical condition. He is now stable but still has a long road ahead of him. He has and always will be a stubborn, tough, 'do it your self' kind of guy, and didn't think he would need health insurance right now. That being said as everyone is probably well aware medical expenses add up quickly and can be completely overwhelming once the bills start to come in. He has bleeding in his brain and has had, and will continue to have lots of tests, scans, and other medical care while he is recovering. We have no idea what kind of medical expenses he is facing but at this point anything can help when you don't have insurance to help lessen the burden. Additionally he will be missing an undetermined amount of work and will not have income until he is able to return to work. If you know Colton, you probably know he doesn't often ask for help but is almost always willing to help someone else whenever they ask. That being said I have taken it upon myself to start this fundraiser in hopes to help him during this time and at the very least show him how many people out there are willing to help even just a little knowing that it can add up to truly make a difference.
