Hi, my name is Halley and I am fundraising for my older brother Colton Luby, who passed away suddenly on August 29th, 2022. Colton was 25 years old. He was a 2020 graduate of Tulane University and was pursuing a Masters Degree in Education from his Alma Mater. Colton was a third-grade math and science teacher at McDonogh 26 Elementary School in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. He saw first-hand the challenges that kids in disadvantaged communities face in obtaining a quality education that would lead to success in their lives. The faculty and staff at McDonogh 26 Elementary School plan to build an outdoor science center for hands-on learning dedicated in Colton’s name.
