Colton Anderson’s Battle with Cancer
My lifelong friend Melissa and her husband Al’s 12 year old son Colton was recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Colton is currently in 6th grade and loves football, fishing, spending time with his brother Dillon and anything outdoors! He is a happy boy and continues to have a positive “go with the flow” attitude, in spite of the life threatening diagnosis. Starting next week and for the next 9 months, Colton’s treatment plan includes chemotherapy, a host of medications, surgery and possibly radiation. It will be aggressive, intense, difficult and costly for a family who, like all of us, have been impacted by Covid over the last year. The family would greatly appreciate any donations to try to offset the vast expenses that they will incur during the duration of Colton’s treatment. Whatever you can give will go a long way and will go directly to Colton’s treatment. If you can’t give, please pray for Colton, his family and the doctors who are treating him. ❤️
Below is a statement from Colton’s mom, Missy...
We ask that you keep Colton in your thoughts and prayers. The power of positivity goes a long way. Colton is an outgoing kid and keeps everyone laughing. Does he want to do this? NO! But is going to fight like he’s never fought before? YES! Together, we can make miracles happen. Please consider donating to help my son fight for his life. Thank you for reading our story!
