Coltans stroke

Well let’s start from the beginning… Coltan and I have known each other since we were 13 and 14 years old, so for almost 25 years now, wow that is so weird to say. We didn’t talk or see each other for 10 years but then reconnected on Facebook after his mom passed away. We got married in 2018 and I was so happy to have him and my new stepson Cameron as my family. We then got blessed with our daughter Corinna in 2023. Coltans entire adult life has been work. He had his fun here and there but work was always his main focus. He worked his butt off for Grede Foundry for almost 15 years, as coltan realized he was going nowhere in the company and his body was no longer tolerating the literal weight load of the job he decided to take a leap of faith and leave the only job he ever had and find something new. He helped my dad out for a while and then found a job at another foundry in Cold Spring, quickly realized he didn’t want to drive that far everyday and started looking again and found what he thought would be his career job at Dezurik in Sartell. He continued to do what he knows best and that’s to bust ass at work. He moved into a lead position very quickly and was proud of that. He had large hopes of becoming something bigger there and being recognized for his work ethic and drive to get things done. After months of asking for help to keep his area moving efficiently and getting basically ignored his body completely shut down and he went into a total mental breakdown. He got diagnosed with PTSD from being over worked, anxiety, major depressive disorder, and ADHD. He has been on short term disability and getting help for all these things. He was finally beginning to feel like a “normal person” when Friday September 19th he came to bed with a headache, he said all of a sudden he felt like something clicked in his head and the entire right side of his body went numb. Being the stubborn man that he is he did not want to go to the ER and me being the more stubborn wife that I am insisted that we go in. Found out fairly quickly that he had a stroke and needed to be admitted. As he is way to young to be having a stroke and none of the underlying causes of this type of stroke they are doing ALOT of testing. We will hopefully be able to go home soon but he of course will need continued testing and some rehab and the medical bills have already begun to pile up. We have a hard time asking for help and this is not really a comfortable thing for me to do but I also know that sometimes you just gotta put your story out there. Thanks to anyone and everyone willing to help including the thoughts and prayers.
