Colt takes on Reno Worlds

So many have asked if we are taking Colter to Reno Worlds. In youth wrestling there are three major World of Wrestling tournaments and to win all three is called the Trinity Award. It is not impossible, but very, very hard to do. Colter has won the first two legs Kickoff Classic and Tulsa Nationals. He is currently ranked #1 in the country and his goal is to win the Trinity! The tournament is known to be the biggest in the world and is held in Reno, NV in April.

We are hoping to do a fundraiser of some sort. Austin is going to work overtime shifts to cover rental car, flights, entry fees, his coach pass, etc. The boys are writing letters to hotels in Reno hoping to get discounted rooms. If anyone is a Treynor fan, sports fan, youth wrestling fan or just a little boy chasing his dreams fan, please feel free to sponsor him or donate $10 to his travel expenses to Reno. If we don't raise enough for flights, we will drive the 42 hours round trip so any money raised will then just go to gas, hotel, entry fees and likely attorney fees for when I leave Austin in the middle of nowhere at some point during the drive between Omaha and Nevada

Colter is humble after wins, always respectful to opponents, and we know he will represent Iowa, his team Powerhouse and his hometown Treynor well! Our community has always supported student athletes and its part of what brought us back to our hometown to raise our kids! We are biased but we have some of the best friends and community around. Colter will also be writing thank you cards to anyone that donates and deliver them. He has great handwriting but he always needs to work on spelling so it will be great practice. We are so proud of him making it this far and are excited to get him there to see if he can achieve his goal!
