Shy of turning three months old, on Thursday, February 22, 2024, Colt stopped breathing. Soon after he was rushed to the hospital in Roundup where they said he needed to have a higher level of care in Salt Lake City. A medical plane was dispatched and Colt with his Mom, Amanda, headed to Primary Children's Hospital. Colt was diagnosed with ALCAPA, which is congenital heart failure that usually shows up in infants around the first 2-3 months of their lives. It is an extremely rare condition. In fact, the odds are 1 and 300,000. Colt underwent surgery and is showing more strength every day.

This fundraiser is to help offset the expenses associated with having to take a trip like this. Any financial help that can be offered will greatly help the Francisco family focus on healing and getting back home to Montana once Colt is feeling up to it.
