ColorBomb is a high-level mixed-gender Ultimate frisbee club team based in Philly. Our mission is to prioritize creating a space for Black and Brown players and we are equally dedicated to the inclusion of queer & trans athletes. By fully reflecting the diversity of our city, we aim to revolutionize what an Ultimate team can look like. In our inaugural season last year, we exceeded expectations in our local section and made a name for ourselves at regionals. Our team gained the support and attention of Philly’s ultimate community and we are lucky to have high-profile members including one semi-pro player and a gold medalist. This year, we're raising the bar even higher and we need your help to do it.

ColorBomb needs your financial support to grow our program and make the 2023 season a success. Players are typically expected to cover their costs for the club season and these accumulate rather quickly. Between club dues, travel and food, jerseys, organizational fees, and equipment, players can expect to spend $250 to $400 per season. Your contribution will help alleviate the financial burden on our players, enabling them to focus on improving their skills, building confidence, and nurturing the growth of this incredible community.

Supporting ColorBomb is crucial to the growth of Ultimate frisbee as a sport and to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals feel welcomed. Many Players of Color and gender non-conforming participants often omit themselves from high level club play because these spaces don’t welcome them or because they simply can’t afford it. POC often face greater barriers to participation that stem from broader biases and oppressive systemic forces.
