Robert's Dreams, Hopes and Wishes

 

Hi All!

Many of you know my brother, Robert Williams, has been battling stage four bladder cancer. He was diagnosed January of 2019 and has since undergone surgery and chemotherapy 3 times per month until November of this year. Recently the doctor informed us that if there’s anything Robert would like to do in life , now is the time.

Many of you know that this isn’t Roberts first go around with health issues. He suffered his first heart attack at 31 which started a long battle with congenital heart disease, leading to a heart transplant in October of 2010.

Robert’s daughter, Rosa, has been along for the ride during the majority of his journey with his health and at points it has put limits on the adventures they were able to have (or not have) With this most recent news of the growth of his tumors Robert has expressed his desire to create a bucket list to do with his daughter, grandchildren and family.

I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes to help create the lasting memories for Robert and his daughter, and perhaps a trip  with his grandsons ages 5 and 6.  Anything given is more than appreciated. All Donations will go towards funding Robert's "bucket list" as well as any additional hospital bills and ,medical equipment he'll need.  We will update this post with pictures of his adventures. 

With that being said, Robert wants everyone to know that even without a bucket list, “ he is very happy with his life and the experiences he has had and all the wonderful people in it. “

On a personal note, I am constantly in awe of his faith, his peace and his devoted love to “his baby”, Rosa and his 2 grandsons who affectionately call him , “Bubba”.
