A Colorado Life for Aiden!

We recently met Kristen and her daughters Aiden & Tayen. What an amazing little family they are!
They spend all their time, money, and energy keeping Aiden alive. As an infant, Aiden was diagnosed with an extreme form of epilepsy called Ohtahara syndrome, which has now progressed into Lennox gastaut syndrome.
Aiden is a clever & funny girl, despite the difficulties of her life. She is nonverbal, eats through a feeding tube, and is unable to walk. She and her mom have realized that any non-organic scents or substances trigger her seizures, which can last 24 hours and always risk being fatal.
That's why they've moved from Texas to Colorado! They need the clean air, support, and cannabis access that we have in Colorado. Can we help them establish a new life here?
Here's what the funds will be used for:
organic produce for Aiden = $400/mo x 4 months = $1600
medical expenses for Aiden not covered by Medicaid = $300/mo x 4 mo = $1200
first & last months rent on an Aiden-safe home* = $1100/mo x 2 m = $2200
a reliable, low-toxin car* = $14,250
* Notes on home & car:
The ideal home would be a small house without carpet on a large lot in Cañon City or a rural area. Kristen would love to trade working on someone's land for a lower rent payment.
The ideal car would be an AWD Honda CRV (least toxic car). It's crucial that they have a car to quickly remove Aiden from seizure-triggering situations. The AWD would be helpful for getting Aiden up to the mountains when she can't find relief anywhere else. They are currently renting a car monthly so they can get away when temporary housing that's available causes seizures for Aiden.
