Hello,

Our story started about 6 years ago when we moved to a tiny village in Catalonia, Spain.

We rescued one stray kitten and soon realised that there is a colony of feral cats surrounding our immediate neighbourhood.

Currently we are taking care of more than 60 cats and kittens. We managed to spay/neuter and /provide veterinary care for more than 40 of them. So far we have managed this without any assistance from anyone including the local council.

This year alone we have an additional 27 kittens that are now due to get spayed/neutered. We have already taken a few of them in, but as we are dependant on our own salaries to fund this so far, we are limited as to how many cats can taken care of every month. On top of this comes the cost of cat food (approx. 90kg of dry food) every month and any other urgent medical issues that arise.

It would be vital to get through this generation of kittens and to get them spayed/neutered in order to stem the population growth in the colony.
